Nov. 6, 1:00 p.m. ~ Carissa got surprise call from hospital to go pick up Kaiden. She's there now ~ waiting patiently. Julian was sleeping. It's a surprise for him.
KAIDEN IS FINE!!! He had his liver biopsy today (Nov. 2) and passed with flying colors. He won't need a liver transplant after all and the medication he is on should flush out his liver and it will regenerate itself.
He's still in the hospital.
Kane is the perfect little baby. He's been
home since October 24th, sleeps nights, awake days now. He just looks around and listens.
Doesn't hardly ever cry. He's the perfect angel and soooooo beautiful.
(Grandmoms are allowed to say that!)
We were so bummed-out when our digital camera broke. It's so expensive to fix, but we just remembered we loaned our little eye-ball digital to a friend and if we can get it back soon, we can take baby pics once again.
Kane came home early afternoon on October 24th!
Kane has reached 6 lbs. and we're waiting for news of Kaiden's status regarding the liver biopsy. He's undergoing some other treatments first.

Kaiden Julian
Weight: 6 lbs. 14 oz.
As of October 19,2001, Kaiden was put on some medication for his Jaundice. That is trying to flush out the nasty stuff so his liver can regenerate and start working again. On October 21, they checked his Jaundice. It went down to 17% from 18.3%. That means the medicine is working. All we are waiting on is his IV to come out. That will be in a week and a half. More updates then.

Weight: 5 lbs. 3 oz.
On October 22, Mommy called to talk to the doctor. He said, "All they have to do is an 8 to 12 hour scan of his whole body to make sure everything is working the way it's supposed to." Finished with telling me he will be able to come home October 23rd. Mommy and Daddy can't hardly wait.
