Kaiden and Kane
October 17th was the first time in 2-1/2 months that Kaiden and Kane got to be reunited. The boys wanted to thank a couple of people for everything they are doing for them.

They will be out soon to thank you in person. You guys are very special to me and my boys. I just wanted to thank you guys again for everything!
Kaiden ~ Weight 6 lbs. 10 oz.
Kaiden has run into another difficulty, but doctors say, "He has come a long way and pulled out of all the other problems. He should have no problem with this one." His jaundice level is at 18%, supposed to be at .5 or 1%. This means his liver is not working the way it's supposed to. On October 16 he had a hyde-a-scan that is a scan of his liver. They injected medicine into him, then he had to lay there being scanned for an hour to see how the liver reacted tot he medicine. Well, it didn't react at all, and this means his liver is not working. Doctors say he has to have a biopsy of his liver, which means they will have to do sergery and take a pice of his liver. That will let us know if he will just grow out of it, or if he will have to have a liver transplant. In a couple of days he should be having his biopsy, and I will be sure to keep everybody updated.
Kane Jules ~ Weight 4 lbs. 11 oz.
As of October 17, Kane has no oxygen. He is breating on his own. His lungs are a little conjested, but that's the least of our worries. Mommy and Daddy are hoping to have them BOTH home by Halloween.
